Canon Pixma MG7760 Printer Driver Download. The Canon Pixma MG7760 is the latest 3-in-1 high-end Canon. It replaces the excellent Pixma MG7560 printer which had the highest rating after our tests. The impeccable picture quality in photo and office automation is always there, but some points do not evolve. This Canon Pixma MG7760 printer dressed all in black, sober and elegant, looks just like the MG7560. The glossy plastic is good, but it is very sensitive to scratches and fingerprints in addition to getting a perverse pleasure trap dirt. Access to 6 ink cartridges is always lifting the panel shipping touch screen of 8.8 cm and buttons - touch too - that appear only when needed, especially when copying. The printer measures 43.5 x 37 x 14.8 cm with all shutters closed. Behind the front cover which opens by itself when printing hides a memory card reader for direct printing. As on the previous model, it supports SDHC and MS Pro Duo. Under the hood, there are always two separate bins, one for A4 and another for envelopes and 10 x 15. It is therefore possible to print two different formats without having to manually load paper. On the other hand, the capacity is limited to 125 A4 sheets, where others can go up to 200 pages. The Canon Pixma MG7760 connection is complete with a USB port for printing from a computer, an Ethernet port for connection to the wired network, the Wi-Fi to connect to the wireless network, the Wi-Fi Direct for direct printing from A mobile device and also the presence of NFC to facilitate printing from a smartphone or tablet.

The Canon still has not found the solution to speed up black-and-white printing which is leaded by the drying time of black. Indeed, if this Canon Pixma MG7760 exceeds 13 pages per minute (ppm) in color, it still does not exceed 6 ppm in black and white. A defect that occurs only when the pages contain an image or a graph. If the page only embeds text, printing is faster. Canon has improved two-sided throughput since the Canon Pixma MG7760 can print 5 double-sided sheets in 2 minutes, while the MG7560 takes 3 minutes. The rendering is always very good. If the bit rates are set back, the print quality is always there. Graphics are well detailed and readable with gradients respected. Even on standard paper, the pictures are correct. Canon is still the leader in the print quality segment. If there is one thing that is particularly popular with this Canon Pixma MG7760, it is photo printing - an exercise in which it is very effective. It takes 1 min and 15 s for this printer to produce an A4 borderless photo and only 32 s for a 10 x 15 cm print. It's 2 times faster than the HP Envy 5640.

The Canon Pixma MG7760 quality delivered is almost irreproachable. The drops are invisible to the naked eye and the presence of six separate cartridges, one of which is gray, results in high-quality black prints with marked contrasts and deep, detailed blacks. Finally, the colors are among the most accurate of our comparison, with a delta E - gap between the ideal colors and the colors observed measured at 5.3. The photo prints are close to a professional quality. Canon is one of the few manufacturers to offer real photo quality on its consumer line. Touch buttons only illuminate when certain functions are used. The scanner is a little faster than the previous model (MG7560). It takes 12 s to scan a 10 x 15 and 11 s photo for a color A4 document, all at 300 dpi. It is always possible to directly send the created file to an email box, a computer or an account on the cloud. The copy is rather average, as the Canon Pixma MG7760 takes about 10 s to reproduce an A4 document in B & W and 19 s for a color A4 document. The quality is very good.

The copies do not palpate too much compared to the original and the colors are faithful. The noise is clearly the weak point of the Canon Pixma MG7760. It does not make a lot of noise (46 dB) when printing only the head moves. On the other hand, it is a different story when printing several pages of an office document. Indeed, when loading pages, it is not uncommon to see the sound level meter exceeding 55 dB. Canon has therefore integrated a "silent mode" option that allows printing to 45 dB, but the loading of the pages always makes noise and easily exceeds 50 dB. The HP Envy 5640 can boast of doing better on this point, with 48 dB measured and a much less brouhaha during the loading of the pages. The Canon Pixma MG7760 consumes less than 1 W in standby and about 16 W in operation. The power consumption is identical to that of the MG7550. Only HP is able to do better on this point and limits the consumption of its Envy 5640 and 5540 to 11 W.
